On November 18-19, the Ukrainian-Swiss Business Association (USBA) organized the 2nd USBA IT-Bridge – a business visit of the Ukrainian IT sector to Switzerland (Zurich-Davos). The event is supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation and the Swiss Federation of Small and Medium Business (SGV).

Participants from the Ukrainian IT sector were: Leobit (Oleksa Stelmakh, CEO), Perenio (Sergiy Kostevych, CEO), AutoBI (Svitlana Yurkevych, Chief Customer Officer, Ievgen Kuguk, Co-Founder), JatApp (Oleg Chugui, Business Development Executive), ELEKS (Olha Klok, Customer Success Director), ApexTech (Oleksandr Anisimov, CEO), Quantum (Ruben Melkonian, СЕО).

Representatives of the following companies were present from the Swiss side: CREDIT SUISSE AG, Google, Reddytec AG, Bank Julius Bär, Enov8 AG, Lion’s Byte, Fairtiq, Hocoma AG, JK Development, SafeSide Life AG, OCTO LNG, EPAM Systems Switzerland , OD Finance Consulting, Katzarov SA, Software Composition Group, University of Bern, University of Zurich.

The first day of the event took place in the format of an offline Forum with presentations from Ukrainian companies and business networking.

The second day was held in Davos in the format of a business lunch with the H.E. Mr. Artem Rybchenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland and Filipenko Yevheniia, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

“Exports of IT services in Ukraine for the nine months of 2021 increased by 35%. The share of IT in total exports of Ukrainian services reached 38%. These are the figures that clearly confirm the dynamics of the Ukrainian IT sector and the great interest in IT services from Ukraine among international companies, including in Switzerland. Our 2-nd USBA IT-BRIDGE has become another effective tool for continuing this positive trend and strengthening new cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland,” – commented Dmytro Sidenko, President of USBA.
