Ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland Artem Rybchenko and USBA President Dmytro Sidenko presented Ukraine’s business potential to Swiss small and medium-sized businesses at the main annual business conference of the Confederation – SGV Commercial winter conference in Klosters (Switzerland) with the central theme of the event “Prospects and Horizons”.
The annual meeting of the heads of industry associations, owners and CEOs of leading Swiss companies has been organized by the Swiss Federation of Small and Medium-sized Businesses since 1949. The conference was attended by about 600 participants over the course of 2 days.
During his speech, Ambassador Artem Rybchenko briefed the Swiss entrepreneurs on Ukraine’s economic potential, investment attractiveness, rapid development of the woodworking and IT sectors, and traditional agricultural sector. Participants also had the opportunity to receive printed materials about Ukraine’s tourism potential and watch UkraineNow videos.

“Over 30 years of independence, Ukraine has transformed into a partner with an attractive investment climate. A mechanism of state support and investor support has been launched, which is implemented by the specially created UkraineInvest Investment Attraction and Support Office,” Artem Rybchenko emphasized.
“The interest in Ukraine is growing every year. More and more Swiss companies want to cooperate with Ukrainian representative offices and are looking for interesting investment opportunities. The fact that today we managed to present Ukraine on a par with such leading economic giants as the United States, China, India, and the EU is undoubtedly our first victory in 2022 and a logical development of our cooperation with the main business associations of Switzerland,” commented EBA President Dmytro Sidenko.
