The memorandum was signed between the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine represented by Artem Rybchenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation, and the Ukrainian-Swiss Business Association represented by USBA President Dmytro Sidenko.

The key goal of the parties’ cooperation under the Memorandum is to strengthen trade relations and promote economic cooperation between the two countries.

“Ukraine and Switzerland have important trade, commercial and industrial ties. We are confident that together with the Ukrainian Council of Exporters and Investors we will contribute to the intensification of bilateral trade and strengthening of business contacts,” commented USBA President Dmytro Sidenko.

The signing took place on December 2 during the 13th Ukrainian-Swiss Joint Committee in the presence of delegations from both sides. In particular, the Swiss delegation was represented by Ambassador Erwin Bollinger, Head of the Bilateral Economic Relations Unit of the State Secretariat of the Swiss Economy, Ambassador Claude Wild, representatives of the Government and business circles. The Ukrainian delegation consisted of representatives of ministries headed by Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
